  1. Hello
Do you know anything about the Cleeve Prior Union? It is recorded in the 1841 census but I can find no other records. My great great grandmother was there when she was 10.

  2. My husband and I are coming to stay in the village for a long weekend. Any suggestions on walks and must do things to experience the village life? Many thanks Karen

  4. South Cleeve Prior Residents Group

    Hello everyone,

How amazing that we are in October already. I know time flies, but I didn’t realise it was using Concord! ; ) Friday is the Residents Group meeting in Field Barn and here is a little outline of the topics we will explore...

A Cleeve Prior Nature Trails proposal which develops and extends the existing Greenlink, to include a number of new lovely walks in the area.
Speed Awareness campaign - posters from the Primary School – new strategies to keep raising careful driving awareness in the village.
Possible name change for our group to indicate that we are open to residents from the whole village. Dropping ‘South’ might streamline us a bit.
The Big Cheer – a monthly chance to raise a glass to the progress which has been made in the last month – village gates – new road lines – Gary Gowers hedge! : )
Fundraising ideas – Teresa and Natalia’s Jam making plan.

The meeting starts at 7pm – we suggest a £1 donation for Field Barn and recommend bringing a torch for the path home.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

    Kind regards,
    South Cleeve Prior Residents Group

  5. Thanks for putting the survey online, but you still have to download it, print it out and use it the same as the one in the newsletter. I'm sure you'll get more responce if it's interactively online so people haven't got to go into the village simply to hunt for where to drop the survey off.
And the link to complain about the BB speed is still to Worcestershire CC who cannot do anything about the speed of the service from the Bidford exchange. Luckiy, I have a reasonably fast connection so can watch the films and iPlayer aticles without any problem, but more is always better in such cases.

  7. Love the new website! Very clean and clear. I will promote it at the next South Cleeve Residents Group meeting on Friday. Also - I have taken some beautiful photographs around the village whilst walking my dogs. If you would like any for the website you are most welcome to use them - or show me how to upload them. Thanks again for the excellent resource.
