The choir is open to everyone. There are no auditions - all you need is a love of singing and a sense of humour! We are particularly in need of more men. Rehearsals are held at Bidford Methodist Church  Tuesdays  7.30pm - 9.30pm

Who do we raise money for?

We always raise money for local charities. Every penny made goes to a good cause in the local area. For our Winter Concert 2014, we were able to support the local branch of the Royal British Legion. We also supported many local events by singing, including Buy in Bidford, The Christmas Tree Festival, Bidford Christmas Lights, GP Surgery Christmas fayre.

"You can't stop the beat" (Summer 2014) raised money for Bidford Churches.

"Wherever you are" (Autumn 2013) raised £1000 for the new GP Surgery and Health Centre.

Concerts are held primarily to benefit the local community. Previously we have generously supported a number of groups and organisations including:

Bidford Youth Group    The St Laurence Church Hall    Myton Hospice   Bidford Christmas Lights    Bidford Churches   Bidford Primary School

Littleton Scouts    Royal British Legion - Bidford Branch  Cleeve Prior Village Hall  Temple Grafton Primary School Piano Fund  St Laurence Church

The Bidford Seniors Christmas Lunch Fund

A truly inclusive Community Choir founded a by Amanda Oliverwho had a vision to make singing fun. We do get better and better!

Bidford Area Community Choir is a local community choir with children and adults of all ages. Currently we have over 60 choir members. We are a friendly bunch and put on two concerts a year. These are usually in the Summer and late Autumn and are for the benefit of local charities.

We practice weekly in the run up to the concert at the Methodist Church, Bidford.

All the music is carefully chosen by Mary Roberts (Musical Director) and is provided as part of the £35 concert subscription fee.

This means all the money made at our concerts can go to a good cause.

Children of choir members are welcome to join the very special Youth /Children’s Choir and the new teen harmony group.

Children practice on Sunday afternoons in the run up to the concert and then join the full choir for the final rehearsal stages.
